Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws for packaging are growing increasingly popular amongst policymakers as a perceived solution to better manage the lifecycle of consumer product packaging. Delegates have the option to attend a preconference workshop in person on the 9th December. This workshop will begin with an overview of how EPR laws for packaging work, and how key differences amongst EPR laws can impact compliance obligations for different parties in the packaging value chain. The workshop also will provide an in-depth overview of packaging EPR laws in the USA, including the laws already adopted in California, Colorado, Maine, Minnesota, and Oregon.
The conference provides a unique opportunity for delegates to obtain the latest industry information and network face-to-face with global experts. Our aim is to facilitate meaningful connections between conference delegates and prominent figures within the industry, promoting engagement and knowledge exchange.
A compliance specialist from De’Longhi Applications describe the conference as having a ‘very good level of speeches and high attention to diversify topics’. Whilst the European Printing Ink Association noted that it is ‘a great opportunity to connect with the whole supply chain of food contact materials and to discuss common challenges and solutions’, overall, the event has something for everyone.
