Hilton Process Solutions (HPS) manufacture a wide range of products and provide complete process solutions for the food industry, specifically in the confectionary and bakery sectors.

With over 20 years of knowledge and experience, this Yorkshire based, family run business has provided custom-designed, speciality processing equipment to some of the largest multi-national food manufacturing companies in the world.

Their core range of speciality equipment includes liquid vessels, jacketed pipework, tubed heat exchanges and dosing systems. This is complemented by a range of bespoke bakery equipment designed specifically for complex requirements where an ‘off the shelf’ solution will not deliver the optimum results.

Managing Director, Danny Hilton, explains, “we develop lasting relationships with all our clients so once we have designed and installed their specially made equipment, we satisfy their long-term processing goals including health and safety measures, feasibility studies, warehouse management, value stream mapping and gap analysis to ensure everything within their process is running to the highest quality and yielding the greatest output.”

Some of the standard HPS process equipment includes;

  • Liquid vessels, ranging in size, up to 12,000Ltrs. These can be designed as single skin holding vessels, be jacketed, have agitation, be fully insulated and clad vessels, and can also come with chocolate and fat melting grids.
  • Pipework, most of which is jacketed to suit sensitive products with specially developed and patented temperate control. Each item is designed and manufactured to be fully hygienic, with all process welds being fully argon purged allowing no internal welds for traceability. All items are provided with an array of process fitting options to suit each specification.
  • Tube heat exchangers have been designed for an array of applications including heating or cooling product and de-tempering chocolate.
  • Along with a range of dosing solutions, developed by HPS which enhance existing products by predominantly adding a liquid dosing of colour and/or flavouring into a standard product to create a new variety.
