Rocol Scrubs, a brand of heavy-duty cleaning towel, have been registered by the NSF under the C1 classification.
At a time when hygiene and cleanliness in everyday life is widely reported in the media, Rocol suggests it is time the world adopted this approach to the workplace. Clean hands at work, not just at home, should be the message.
The NSF C1 classification means that Rocol Scrubs are safe for use in inedible product processing, non-processing areas, and exterior areas of food and beverage processing facilities. Any product being used in an application where there is any risk of contaminating a food or beverage item must be registered by NSF in the most suitable category for the application.
Rocol says that the citrus alcohol based formula in Scrubs hand-cleaning wipes is combined with a tough, textured towel to loosen, dissolve and absorb dirt and grease, leaving hands clean. Scrubs are suitable for use where soap and water are not available, such as in-the-field maintenance, breakdowns or where a quick clean is required during a working operation.
Achieving NSF C1 classification gives engineers peace of mind that Scrubs are safe for use in parts of their factory. The wipes are designed to remove the build-up of dirt, tar, oil, grease and general grime from hands quickly and effectively without soap or water. Notably, the formulation of the wipes locks in dirt, preventing it from transferring back on to users’ hands.
Rocol Scrubs are dermatologically tested and contain skin conditioner to leave hands clean and free from dryness and irritation. Supplied in a durable tub with a snap-on handle, easy transportation around the factory is assured.
